I am Deepti Arun.
I regret not being able to post anything for a while now. There have been some life-changing events for me personally.
When I started Little Banyan Tree on March 7,2018, I intended to document what I was very passionate about- my interaction with kids and my explorative ways to inspire them to do greater things than they might have imagined.
Little Banyan Tree has grown a bit, since then, becoming an initiative with unique possibilities, that bring forth the immense potential of students; particularly teenagers. I have also occasionally worked with students outside this age group.
I have been encouraged and appreciated, by some of my unbelievably fantastic and selfless friends, in the teaching and parent community. I shall always remember them with heartfelt gratitude.
Little Banyan Tree aims, on one hand, to motivate the student community and their parents, and on the other, to facilitate them with informative content.
Workshops and activities are held where students from different schools get an opportunity to interact with each other. They are usually directed to improve the communicative skills of the participants. Featured blogs on students who have made a mark are whole-heartedly received by youngsters aspiring to reach new heights themselves.
Little Banyan Tree is today less about me or my efforts and more about what precious young girls and boys can potentially do. We, together, for instance, started the Little Banyan Tree Kids Magazine. I continue to look for more avenues to celebrate childhood and adolescence.
